Majemite Mourns Dennis Omovie

PDP stalwart, a two time Commissioner and Governorship aspirant, Olorogun. (Barr) Fred Okiemute Majemite has expressed shock over the death of Chief Dennis Omovie, a former member of the Delta state’s House of Assembly.

Omovie,  the Unuevworo, (Prime Minister) of Ugboroke died on Tuesday at a hospital in Warri, after a brief illness.He was a four-time member of the Parliament and until his death the Director-General, Delta State Public and Private Properties Protection Agency.

Majemite who described Omovie as his friend commiserated with the people of Warri South local government and Uvwie Local Government Areas as well as Ugboroke community over the demise of their son and community leader.

Majemite equally described the deceased  as a grassroot  politician, a true friend and a man of the people  who distinguished himself in his service to the state.

Majemite while expressing his condolences  to  his wife, Justice Mabel Omovie of the State High Court, Asaba  also prayed God to grant her, the immediate family and the Ugboroke Community the fortitude to bear this great loss. He also prayed that God will gant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.
