Yoruba nation leaders protest in Ibadan, London over Sunday igboho arrest

One of the leading agitators of the Yoruba nation movement Olayomi Koiki has annouced a protest in ibadan for sunday igboho release

A statement by Koiki reads: “Emergency, emergency, emergency, emergency.

“Please we beg all agitators to converge at Chief Sunday Igboho’s house for a peaceful demonstration to show the world the kind of person he is as one of the conditions given for his release.

“Please let’s all be at his house in Soka, Ibadan, before 12 o’clock today, thanks and God bless Yoruba nation now.”

Igboho was arrested at an airport in Cotonou, Benin Republic, on Monday night while trying to travel to Germany

Nigerian security outfit DSS annouced him wanted after they recently invaded his house in ibadan and arrested some of his cohorts, they also retrieved charms and weapons from his residence

Olayomi Koiki also announced a protest for Yoruba indegenes living in London on his facebook live on tuesday

He said, “Let’s give a bit more background. It is happening tomorrow in Central London. There will be a massive protest at 10, Downing Street. It will hold as planned. Please let’s make sure we bring ourselves down there. Igboho’s life was threatened. It was about to be terminated on July 1, 2021.

“Tomorrow also, if you individuals want to do picketing right in front of the German embassies across the world, let’s not wait for anyone. What you should know is that after the attack on Igboho’s house on July 1, some people have been protesting in Central London, they stay there for one, two, three hours. You might think they don’t get noticed but you can’t tell who saw them.

“We shouldn’t be intimidated or be cajoled or hide.”

He had earlier written on his Facebook page, ”I stand with Sunday Igboho (Oosha Baba). Release the innocent detainees now. CSI is not a wanted man. We need international justification as a matter of urgency! Buhari! Leave Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho alone. Nigeria is a failed ex Nation. 1999 Constitution of that ex Nation is a fraud. Amalgamation is over.”
